Jayhawks Raise Rally Flag, Beat Ohio State, 7-6
The inspired effort of Ohio State right fielder Ben Blackwell was not enough to prevent a 7-6 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks. Blackwell was 2-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Jayhawks bumped their record to 24-12 with this latest triumph.

The Jayhawks got a big at-bat from shortstop T.J. McClain. For the game, McClain was 1-4 with a triple. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Kansas a 7-6 lead.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Kansas manager Nakazo Kobayashi.
