Brown Slugs Horned Frogs to 6-3 Win
|
A 4-RBI performance from Christian Brown, who is tied for 2nd in the RDL in bases on balls with 31, helped the TCU Horned Frogs beat the Arizona State Sun Devils, 6-3. Jared Jones finished to wrap up his 4th save. At 17-19, TCU is in 15th place in the Cliff Gustafson.
Brown contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for TCU in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-1, Brown took a cutter from David Diaz and stroked the home run to right. His 16th home run of the season allowed the Horned Frogs to leap in front, 4-3.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Brown.
