The Oregon Ducks topped the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns, 3-1, in Rod Dedeaux League action at Crunch Ballpark. The player of the game was Oregon pitcher and Dubuque, Iowa native Justin Mommaerts. The Ducks bumped their record to 21-14 with this latest triumph.

The Ducks got a big at-bat from third baseman Miguel Borrayo. For the game, Borrayo was 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Oregon a 1-0 lead.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Borrayo told reporters after the game.
