The Ole Miss Rebels clobbered the Rice Owls, 24-3, at Ballpark of Wrightsville College today. Ole Miss right fielder Sean Brown was named player of the game for his productive day. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 3 walks. He scored 4 times and drove in 7. Ole Miss reliever Mike Ison was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Paul Lucas took the loss. Ole Miss currently is in 20th place in the Cliff Gustafson at 14-21.

The Rebels got a big at-bat from second baseman Eric Winkel. For the game, Winkel went 4-5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6.
