The Auburn Tigers topped the Iowa State Cyclones, 5-4, in Skip Bertman League action at Zodiac Ballpark. The player of the game was Auburn catcher Mike Rocha. The losing streak for Iowa State has now reached 5 games.

Had Andy Laine not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Laine hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Tigers.
