The Fresno State Bulldogs got a magnificent effort from pitcher Mike True, who kept Long Beach State hitters in check en route to a 2-0 Bulldogs win at Brooks College Grounds. True, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 17-17 with this latest triumph.
