Spirited fans at Field of the Plunder greeted the Georgia Bulldogs for their clash with the Michigan Wolverines.

Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Scott Wright, the Michigan Wolverines defeated the Georgia Bulldogs, 11-7. Wright was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Wolverines. The 16th-place Wolverines lifted their record to 15-18.

Marcus Clayton, who is tied for 9th in the SBL in stolen bases with 7, aided the Michigan cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the third. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
