April Hits 2 home runs in Yellow Jackets Win
Georgia Tech shortstop Simon April made his presence felt in the 9-8 Yellow Jackets triumph over the Tennessee Volunteers. April belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Georgia Tech reliever Elijah Cameron was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Chris Taylor. The 5th-place Yellow Jackets now have a 10-game winning streak.

April had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Chris Taylor, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Yellow Jackets a 9-7 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for April.

April told a Georgia Tech Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
