Beavers Lose, 11-5, at Crowley College Grounds
The 2034 season is getting ugly for Oregon State.

With first baseman Brian Wild leading the charge, the Mississippi State Bulldogs defeated the Oregon State Beavers, 11-5, at Crowley College Grounds. Wild went 2-3 with a double and 3 walks. He scored 3 times. The win was Ken Robinson's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jay Reiling took the loss for Oregon State.

Wild had a game-changing single in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-2 curveball from Nick Byrnes, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Bulldogs a 6-5 lead. It was the 30th hit of the year for Wild.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Wild, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The Bulldogs bumped their record to 18-13 with this latest triumph.
