Extra-Inning Win by Islanders over Republic
The Hawaii Islanders picked up a win at House of the Republic, knocking off the So Cal Republic, 6-4. Starting pitcher Rodrigo Garza, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Hawaii now has a 3-game win streak.

The Islanders got a big at-bat from first baseman Baber Davi. For the game, Davi went 2-3 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the 16th, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 70th hit of the season gave Hawaii a 6-4 lead.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Garza.
