Bruins Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Bulldogs
|
With first baseman Eric Hamilton leading the charge, the UCLA Bruins defeated the Fresno State Bulldogs, 3-2, at Brooks College Grounds. Hamilton went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Even with the win, the Bruins have a dismal 10-20 record.
Marco Guerrero aided the UCLA cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Hamilton said after the game.
