Aggies Get Road Win, 8-5
|
The Texas A&M Aggies topped the Arizona Wildcats by the score of 8-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Jeff LaPorte. LaPorte was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times for the Aggies on the day. Casey Beach got the win, improving to 2-2. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2.
