Buckeyes Get Road Win, 4-2
|
Siege Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes.
Ohio State starter Danny Wade pitched effectively against the Michigan Wolverines at Siege Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. The Buckeyes bumped their record to 15-14 with this latest triumph.
The Buckeyes got a big at-bat from shortstop Kurt Bittinger. For the game, Bittinger was 1-3 with a walk. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 21st hit of the season gave Ohio State a 1-0 lead.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Ohio State manager Dave Draves. "Our pregame was pretty good."
