5-3 Aggies Win over Sun Devils Evens Season Record
|
The Texas A&M Aggies downed the Arizona State Sun Devils, 5-3, at Sooners Ballpark. Ryan Ryan led the way, going 3-for-4 for Texas A&M. Texas A&M reliever Mel Saucedo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bill Rankin shouldered the loss. The Aggies bumped their record to 14-14 with this latest triumph.
Ryan had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Bill Rankin, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Aggies a 3-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Ryan.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Ryan.
