Cavaliers Get Road Win, 11-8
Michigan got a terrific game from catcher George Cragg. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Virginia, 11-8. Cragg was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. The Cavaliers bumped their record to 16-11 with this latest triumph.

The Cavaliers got a big at-bat from shortstop D.J. Schulte. For the game, Schulte went 2-4 with 2 singles and 2 walks. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 33rd hit of the season gave Virginia a 7-6 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Schulte said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
