Hurricanes Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Auburn
|
It was a good time at Gremlins Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Auburn Tigers and Miami Hurricanes get after it.
The Miami Hurricanes got a stellar effort from pitcher Aaron Lentz, helping Miami score a 6-1 win over the visiting Auburn Tigers. Even with the win, the Hurricanes have a dismal 7-20 record.
Jim Jones drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances against the Tigers. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run, putting Miami in front, 1-0.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Jones said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
