Sullivan hits 2 home runs, Golden Bears Move to 16-10
California center fielder John Sullivan was instrumental in his team's 11-7 win over the Baylor Bears. Sullivan went 2-2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Golden Bears. The winner was California reliever Danny Walker, now 2-0. The loser was Dexter Adams. Darren Thomas recorded his 1st save for California.

The Golden Bears got a big at-bat from right fielder Evan Wescott. For the game, Wescott went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave California a 5-4 lead.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Sullivan told a California Chronicle reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
