Commodores Roll to 9-1 Win Over Sooners
The Vanderbilt Commodores knocked off the Oklahoma Sooners, 9-1, at Biglerville College Fields. Tom Harvey, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Vanderbilt won. The second baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Commodores go to 14-10, putting them 8th in the Ron Fraser Division.

Jimmy Gavins swatted a 2-run home run for Vanderbilt in the top of the seventh. The catcher went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
