Tigers Drop Another One
It was a fun time at Zodiac Ballpark, where the Missouri Tigers and Auburn Tigers tangled.

The Auburn Tigers beat the Missouri Tigers, 13-5, at Zodiac Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Nick Lilley, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win was credited to Jonathan McCash in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Nick Bell took the loss.

In the bottom of the third inning, right fielder Zach Clarkson came through big-time for the Tigers. With Auburn leading 7-1, he belted a 3-run home run.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Lilley said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Missouri has now lost 5 straight.
