Landry, Bulldogs Wallop Aggies

The Fresno State Bulldogs knocked off the Texas A&M Aggies, 11-1, at Sooners Ballpark. Jimmy Landry, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Fresno State won. The right fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Bill Crabbe got the win, improving to 3-0. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up no runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 13-11 with this latest triumph.
In the top of the third inning, second baseman Giovanni Patrick came through big-time for the Bulldogs. With Fresno State leading 1-0, he belted a solo home run.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Patrick said after the game.
