Bulldogs Prevail, 3-2, Over Arizona
|
In a low-scoring clash between Fresno State and Arizona, pitcher Lance Bundy was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Fresno State in the 3-2 win. Fresno State reliever Nate Lee picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Walt Graybill absorbed the loss. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 12-11 with this latest triumph.
The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Bobby Wilson. For the game, Wilson was 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Fresno State a 3-2 lead.
"We found a way to get it done," Wilson said.
