Ramparts Ballpark was rocking after an exciting Razorbacks win today.

The Arkansas Razorbacks bested the Florida State Seminoles by a score of 7-5, with first baseman Brad Mathews getting the main credit. On the day, Mathews went 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Razorbacks. Arkansas reliever Sean Bonin picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Kyle Johnson absorbed the loss.

Mathews had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 11th. On a 2-2 slider from Kyle Johnson, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Razorbacks a 7-5 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Mathews.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Mathews. "I like it."

At 11-12, the Razorbacks are currently 14th in the Ron Fraser Division.
