Green Wave Bang Out 10-5 Win Versus Mississippi State
|
The Tulane Green Wave beat the Mississippi State Bulldogs, 10-5, at Berthoud College Grounds. The Green Wave got a fine performance from left fielder Mike McKee, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jason Geiger locked down his 1st save. The Green Wave bumped their record to 14-7 with this latest triumph.
Brandon Joslyn swatted a 3-run home run for Tulane in the bottom of the first. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Joslyn. "And not try to do too much."
