Rickey Moses left his imprint on the 11-1 LSU win against the Tulane Green Wave. Moses, who is tied for 3rd in the RDL in stolen bases with 5, went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. LSU starter Mike McCollum was credited with the win after throwing 85 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Sean Christmas, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.
LSU took a 5-1 lead on Moses's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jason Geiger in the top of the seventh, propelled LSU to the win.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Moses.
LSU has now won 3 in a row.
