Wildcats Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus Houston
|
It was a good time at Red Wings Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Houston Cougars and Arizona Wildcats get after it.
Frank Barbato left his imprint on the 7-4 Arizona win against the Houston Cougars. Barbato was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. John Knight, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save.
The Wildcats got a big at-bat from right fielder Justin King. For the game, King was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Arizona a 3-0 lead.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said King.
Even with the win, the Wildcats have a dismal 6-14 record.
