Sun Devils Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Greg Matthews left his imprint on the 10-4 Arizona State win against the Rice Owls. Matthews was 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Sun Devils bumped their record to 15-5 with this latest triumph.

Sam Henderson, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Sun Devils organization, aided the Arizona State cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder went 1-2 with a double, a walk, and was hit 2 times. He scored 2 times.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Matthews.
