Matt Strickland batted in 5 runs to lead Vanderbilt to a win over Ohio State. The final score was 12-7. Strickland chipped in with 1 single and 2 home runs. The Commodores bumped their record to 11-8 with this latest triumph.

In the first inning, Strickland had a 3-run home run for Vanderbilt. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Commodores on top, 8-0.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Strickland told the Vanderbilt News.
