The Santa Fe Fuego did just enough to sneak past the Dallas Texans, 4-3, at Metroplex Park. Santa Fe pitcher Oliver Romero earned player of the game honors. Jun'ichi Suzuki notched his 14th save in 17 chances. Santa Fe occupies 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division at 34-38.

Tomiji Kohara aided the Santa Fe cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Romero.
