Gentry K's 10 En Route to 8-0 Bulldogs Win
Mississippi State right-hander Frank Gentry made an effective start against the California Golden Bears at Prisoners Ballpark, leading his team to a 8-0 win. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 11-8 with this latest triumph.

The Bulldogs liked what they saw from Gentry. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Golden Bears to no earned runs on 4 hits over 7 innings, and striking out 10.

"Frank is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Mississippi State manager Carlton Price.
