Jayhawks Win in Extras
The Kansas Jayhawks faced a tough opponent in Oklahoma pitcher Nick Davidson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Biglerville College Fields by a final score of 4-3. Davidson went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Dennis Chambley earned the save for Kansas, his 1st of the year. The first-place Jayhawks have won 9 consecutive games.

It could have been a different outcome for Kansas, had it not been for Sterling Maroney, the 20-year old left fielder . Maroney contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 12th inning to put Kansas up, 4-3.
