Owls Bang Out 10-1 Win Versus Tulane
|
Rice got an elite performance from starting pitcher Chris Roberts in taking a 10-1 decision over the Tulane Green Wave. Roberts picked up the win for Rice, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Rice goes to 7-10, Tulane to 11-6.
Sam See aided the Rice cause with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
