Fans who congregated at Scandals Ballpark were treated to extra-inning drama.

A 4-RBI performance from Jesse Strozewski helped the North Carolina Tar Heels beat the South Carolina Gamecocks, 11-6. North Carolina has an impressive 11-5 record.

The Tar Heels got a big at-bat from shortstop Chris Walker. For the game, Walker went 1 for 1. In the top of the 12th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave North Carolina a 6-5 lead.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Tar Heels manager William Wilson. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
