Golden Eagles Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The South Mississippi Golden Eagles and Oregon Ducks completed their game despite the rain.

The Oregon Ducks went down to defeat to Mike Canada and his South Mississippi teammates. The final score was 8-1 in favor of the Golden Eagles. South Mississippi has an impressive 10-5 record.

South Mississippi needed the clutch hitting of Danny Redding to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Golden Eagles on top, 4-0. For the game, Redding had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
