Oklahoma Makes It 8 Straight with 11-10 Win
The Oklahoma Sooners did just enough to sneak past the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 11-10, at Castles Ballpark. Oklahoma designated hitter Mark Kandah earned player of the game honors. The win was Zachary Schultz's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Tyler McIntosh took the loss for Georgia Tech. The 4th-place Sooners have won 8 in a row.

The Sooners got a big at-bat from second baseman Braiden Reed. For the game, Reed went 1-1 with a home run. In the top of the 12th, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Oklahoma a 11-10 lead.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Reed said after the game.
