Bulldogs Prevail, 7-5, Over USC
|
The Mississippi State Bulldogs and USC Trojans completed their game despite the rain.
Mississippi State designated hitter Earl Seyfried had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the USC Trojans, 7-5. Ken Robinson recorded the save for Mississippi State, his 1st of the season.
Seyfried had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the second, when he hit a grand slam. The Bulldogs went on to win.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Seyfried said.
Mississippi State has an impressive 10-5 record.
