Georgia Tech turned a good effort from starter J.J. Rex into a win over the Georgia Bulldogs at Field of the Plunder. The final score was 3-0. Rex picked up the win for Georgia Tech, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 1 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. The Yellow Jackets bumped their record to 8-6 with this latest triumph.
