Longhorns Come Up Short at Cal State Fullerton
Texas shortstop Carl Brown had a good game, even if his team did not. The Longhorns dropped a 6-5 decision to Cal State Fullerton at Hartford College Grounds. Brown went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. Doug Gorski earned the save for Cal State Fullerton, his 4th. With the victory, the Titans record now stands at 5-8.

Jeremy Gregory aided the Cal State Fullerton cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman was 1-4.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Gregory.
