The Oklahoma Sooners defeated the Georgia Bulldogs, 11-8, at Biglerville College Fields today. Leading the charge for Oklahoma was first baseman Joe Neel. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The 8th-place Sooners have won 6 consecutive games.

Neel had a game-changing single in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Alex Vargas, he banged a 2-run single to left, giving the Sooners a 8-7 lead. It was the 14th hit of the year for Neel.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Neel.
