Taurus Sharp, Whitewashes Texans
|
Clint Taurus handcuffed the Dallas Texans at Metroplex Park today, coming away with a 4-hit, complete game shutout.
"I had everything working for me out there," the Santa Fe Fuego right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."
With his stuff working, Taurus had little trouble with the Texans and led the Fuego to victory, 1-0. He recorded 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.
For the season Taurus has compiled a 6-6 record with a 1.73 ERA.
