Toreros Squelch Prowlers Offense in Shutout Win
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros topped the Oklahoma City Prowlers, 5-0, in Thurman Munson League action at Field de Los Layendas. The player of the game was Cabo San Lucas pitcher and El Monte, California native Albert Giles. Even with the win, the Toreros have a dismal 23-44 record.

Tony Ramirez aided the Cabo San Lucas cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the second. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 4 with a triple.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Giles told reporters after the game.
