Gators Beat Cavaliers in 10
|
Florida shortstop Tristan Wilson picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Virginia Cavaliers, 9-8. Florida has now won 3 in a row.
The Gators got a big at-bat from left fielder Logan Ballengee. For the game, Ballengee went 1-6. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 3rd hit of the season gave Florida a 9-8 lead.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Torazo Yamamoto.
