Tigers Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
The Arkansas Razorbacks and Missouri Tigers cranked it up at Ramparts Ballpark.

Benefiting from Ivan Lopez's productive game, the Missouri Tigers downed the Arkansas Razorbacks, 8-4. Lopez went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Tigers. Missouri reliever Eric Wynne picked up the win to move to 1-0. Kenny Bahr suffered the loss.

With Missouri leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Lopez hit a fastball from Kenny Bahr for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 4-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Lopez told the Missouri Herald. "It's as simple as that."

Even with the win, the Tigers have a dismal 2-8 record.
