Cavaliers Bang Out 8-6 Win Versus Wake Forest
Jared Howard was instrumental in his team's 8-6 triumph over the Wake Forest Demon Deacans. The third baseman went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Virginia Cavaliers. Virginia reliever Kris Richardson picked up the win to move to 1-1. Tetsui Kawashima suffered the loss. The Cavaliers raised their record to 6-3.
