Sycamores Bang Out 9-2 Win Versus Miami
|
The game between Indiana State and Miami is in the books, despite a little rain.
Nate Roe made an impact in the 9-2 Indiana State win over Miami. Roe, who is the 4th-best prospect in the Sycamores organization, went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Dan Fram, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 2 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. His record now stands at 1-0.
Chad Burt aided the Indiana State cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the right fielder was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Indiana State skipper Philip Lilly.
At 5-3, the Sycamores have played well so far.
