Cowboys Lose, 4-1, at Ballpark of Bismarck College
|
The Florida Gators defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 4-1, in Skip Bertman League action at Ballpark of Bismarck College, with Florida third baseman Luke Fuschetti named player of the game. Sam Foust got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. Adam Stoltzfus finished to wrap up his 3rd save.
Fuschetti had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Gators went on to win.
"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Fuschetti told the Florida Herald.
At 5-3, the Gators have played well so far.
