Corey hits 2nd home run to Pull Yellow Jackets to .500
David Corey made an impact in the 9-7 Georgia Tech win over Virginia. Corey went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Georgia Tech starter Jeff Farrar was credited with the win after throwing 82 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. The win gives the Yellow Jackets a record of 4-4.

Corey had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Yellow Jackets went on to win.
