Razorbacks Prevail, 4-2, Over Ohio State
|
Arkansas Razorbacks starter Tony Reed was in fine form against the Ohio State Buckeyes at Ramparts Ballpark, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Reed, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up no walks. Picking up the save was Sean Bonin, his 2nd.
The Razorbacks got a big at-bat from right fielder Jonathan DeLille. For the game, DeLille was 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 6th hit of the season gave Arkansas a 2-1 lead.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," DeLille said.
Losses have been few and far between for the Buckeyes so far this season. Their record drops to 5-2.
