Green Wave Win in Glorious Fashion
The Tulane Green Wave finished things off in style today at Berthoud College Grounds.

Baylor left fielder Bryan Anson had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bears dropped a 12-9 decision to Tulane at Berthoud College Grounds. Anson hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Tulane reliever Jesse Lay was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Ben Mucherino took the loss for Baylor.

Jim Sims chipped in for Tulane with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI.

Sims told a Tulane Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

Tulane, now 2-3, is off to a slow start.
