Bruins Best Rebels in Pitching Duel
Pitcher Kyung-soo Cheon was sensational for the UCLA Bruins in his team's 2-0 triumph over the Ole Miss Rebels. Cheon received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Picking up the save was Derrek Bathauer, his 1st. UCLA, now 1-2, is off to a slow start.

Eric Riley went 1-2 with 3 walks for UCLA. The 20-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Brian Thomas. It was his 3rd walk of the season.

"Kyung-soo is tough when he's hitting his spots," said UCLA manager Rick Osmond.
