The exploits of catcher Bobby Douberly, who is rated as the 20th best prospect by BNN, helped the Fresno State Bulldogs defeat the Oregon Ducks, 11-2. Douberly went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 3 walks. He scored 3 runs. Lance Bundy was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed no runs on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts.
